- 15 yards 100% cotton, worsted weight yarn – per coaster (I used Lily Sugar ‘N Cream Yarn in Potpourri Ombre
- 4 mm crochet hook
- yarn needle to weave in ends
This pattern is written in US terms.
Note: you want 100% cotton yarn for it’s absorption properties
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
sc = single crochet
slp st = slip stitch
ch 4, slp st into the first ch to join into a circle
ch 2 (counts as a dc), dc x 11 into the circle (12 dc total), slp st into the first dc to join
ch 2 (counts as a dc), dc x2 into each dc from the previous round (24 dc total), slp st into the first dc to join
ch 2 (counts as a dc), dc x2 into each dc from the previous round (48 dc total), slp st into the first dc to join
ch 1, (counts as a sc), sc x 1 into each dc from the previous round (48 sc total), slp st into the first sc to join
